With costs below national and state averages, the Missouri State University MBA program is committed to providing a quality, affordable education. In addition to these lower costs, we offer a variety of graduate assistantships and scholarships that will help you follow your passion and find your place. Missouri State COB undergraduate students can realize additional savings through the accelerated option.
Graduate students are encouraged to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year of study. For more information about how to apply for federal and state financial aid, please visit the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Graduate assistantships are on-campus opportunities that help pay for your MBA, offer a stipend and provide valuable resume-building experience in administration, research and teaching. MBA students are encouraged to apply for assistantship opportunities all over campus.
You may submit a copy of your application, a resume and three professional references to the department(s) seeking applicants.
For assistantships available in the College of Business Administration, please contact the appropriate department.
Some scholarships are available for graduate students, both through the College of Business Administration (COBA) and the University at-large. Nearly $200,000 is awarded to students annually through COBA. Scholarship and award opportunities are announced in early December, with most applications due in early March. Students are notified of their awards in early April.
Four scholarships are provided specifically for MBA students, providing from $600 to $1,500 in need and merit-based aid per academic year. To apply for a COBA scholarship, you are encouraged to visit the COBA Scholarships page and consult the COBA Big Book of Scholarships and Awards (available in January). These scholarships include:
